Course finished? Then your work begins. For example: guarding company premises, stewarding at a stadium, at events, or security on the railways.

Many people do not know what to say at the Jobcenter. So we give you the right words.
“I already have a job offer in the security industry. For that I need the § 34a GewO examination. I also already know which training provider I want to do it with. Can I get an education voucher (Bildungsgutschein) for it?”
What you should
already have
This job is not for everyone. You need these things:
- You are at least 24 years old.
- You are allowed to work in Germany.
- You speak enough German to talk to people.
- You have a clean Führungszeugnis (police record certificate) – no convictions.
- You are reliable. When your shift starts, you are there.
- You want to learn. We teach you the rest.

You do not need to. You learn everything you need on the course. We do not ask for any experience in security.

That does not rule you out. What matters to us is your Führungszeugnis and whether you are reliable – not what the last few years looked like.

That is why it is written out word for word above. You take two documents with you and know beforehand what it is about.
Questions almost everyone asks
In most cases: yes. But only your Jobcenter or the Agentur für Arbeit can decide that – not us. What we do for you: we check whether you are a good fit. You get your job offer in writing. And we prepare you well for the meeting.
Do you get the education voucher? Then the course costs you nothing. Talking to us is always free – even if you do not decide yet.
Just write to us. Usually it works like this: you are registered with the Jobcenter or the Agentur für Arbeit, for example as looking for work. Does that apply to you? We will look at it together.
First a digital assistant answers you. It asks short questions in your language, around the clock. Would you rather speak to a person? Just write “staff” (Mitarbeiter) or “call” (Anrufen). Then someone from our team gets in touch.
You receive a written job offer beforehand. If you pass the exam and follow the rules of the course, your job starts afterwards. Everything important is in your offer. Read it carefully and ask us if anything is unclear.
No. You can talk to us in German, English, Turkish, Arabic or your own language. For the job itself you need German that is good enough for everyday situations. We will look at that together. An accent is not a problem.
We only store what we really need: for your application, the funding and your support. You start the chat yourself – you decide what you tell us. You can end the chat at any time, just write “stop”. All details are in our privacy information.
